1939 Gunbai 5 Set

Description:  This is an amazing set for the age and design.  This set uses gold ink as well as nice clean drawings of the rikishi.  So far I've only been able to locate three of these menko and all are in decent shape despite being through World War 2!  This set has one of Futabayama's first Yokozuna menko and Maedayama's first Ozeki-menko.  These menko came in sheets and had to be cut by hand resulting in uneven edges.  If you can find these anywhere, make sure you pick them up!
