1946 Kagome Rikishi 4 Set
Description: This is the second known set produced by the famous Kagome Gangu Company and the first known set produced after the war. The first of series known as the Rikishi or "human" set as it shows the rikishi in their kesho mawashi. Menko came in sheets and had to be popped out by the owner. These are very rare to find as Japan was in the middle of a paper shortage and very few paper products that didn't pertain to the war effort were produced. These menko are almost identical to the 1944 Kagome Rikishi 4 Set except for the Kagome mark is in the lower right corner of the menko and not the middle bottom like on the 1944 set.
