Description: Not a very interesting set in terms of subjects, but this set is historically important because it is one of the very few sets made in the late 1940s when Japan was occupied by the American forces. This set consists of 3 sumo menko along with 9 other menko of American Military men, samurai and baseball players. These menko were issued in boxes as I have seen several with winning stamp numbers on the back.
