1952 Kagome Trump 4 Set

    Description:  This is the earliest color bromide set I've documented for sumo menko.  The colors on these are simply amazing!  This set is very simple with no distractions on the front or the back.  If you can find any of these, don't hesitate to pick them up.

    Front Design:  This set features color photographs of the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi.  Shikona is printed vertically on the front.

   Back Design:  A playing card design is in the middle of the menko.  A Gu-Choki-Pa appears above that and is somewhat small.  At the very bottom is a 4 digit Fighting Number and the Kagome mark to the right of that.  Backs are printed in a blue ink.
