1954 Rikishi 6-7-8 Set

Description:  This is another one of the "human" sets where the rikishi's face is superimposed on top of a drawing of the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi.  The photo below shows how the menko originally came and shows how the kids would punch out the menko after they bought sheets of these.  One interesting fact in this set is the Super-Menko that came with it as well.  A 2.5" x 5.0" menko!  I can't imagine this would actually be used in a game.  This was the first year as well that Wakanohana was a Sekiwake and the first year Yoshibayama was a Yokozuna!
