1954 Sanenchu Murasaki 6 Set
Description: A nice early 1954 set with many big name rikishi. The drawings of the rikishi are done well and the colors used in the printing process are nice and vivid. This set has an early Sekiwake menko of future Yokozuna Wakanohana. There is a sister set to this, 1954 Sanenchu Ao 6 Set, that is identical except that the front borders are a yellow and red dash design and the backs are printed in an aqua blue ink. This purple back set is much harder to find than the blue back set.
