1955 Yakyu Game Set
Description: This is an interesting set from the 1955 September Basho/1956 January Basho. These cards originally came in a magazine and kids would cut the cards apart in order to play a baseball dice game with them. The "back" side are color photos of popular baseball players of the era. Below each photo are six numbers that had different baseball plays. Kids would role a dice and perform the corresponding play according to the number they rolled. There was probably a game board that came along with this set, but I have yet to see one. On the "front" side are the most popular rikishi from 1955. The photos are on an indigo blue back ground and are black and white.
