1956 Kagome Caricature Trump 7-8 Set

    Description:  These menko came in sheets of 40 menko and children had to cut the menko apart themselves.  Most menko on the market are in very good condition with nice, sharp corners and straight edges.  These menko have good coloring and are on nice, heavy paper stock.  This is a somewhat unusual set in the fact that all the rikishi's photos are drawn in caricature form.  A second version exists where the menko have a bright white gloss finish.  Not sure if these are special menko or not.

   Front Design:  The front shows the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi with a caricature type drawing of their head.  Shikona is shown on the front.  A white glossed front version exists as well.  See pictures below.

   Back Design:  The backs of these menko have a war there along with a corresponding menko from a deck of playing cards.  The Gu-Choki-Pa symbol is in the same box as the war drawing and the 7 or 8 digit Fighting Numbers are at the bottom.  Backs are printed in a light blue ink.
