1956 Sanenchu Mini 11-13 Set

    Description:  Not much is known about this set, but it as another of the Sanenchu series.  This set is smaller than usual measuring 1.75" x 2.5".  Only 4 menko have been discovered, but the most popular rikishi of the time are depicted in this set.  These are great menko as they are think and have a nice gloss coating on the front.

   Front Design:  A color photo of the rikishi appears on the front with various sumo designs for backgrounds.  The boarders are pink and the rikishi's shikona appears in yellow and is printed vertically.

   Back Design:  A simple three column design on the back printed in brown ink.  The rikishi's height and weight appear on both sides and the shikona appears in big, bold kanji in the middle of the menko.  At the top is the rikishi's rank and in the very middle at the top is a Gu-Choli-Pa mark.  A 11 or 13 digit fighting number appears at the bottom.
