1956 Sanenchuu 9-10 Set
Description: These menko were bundled together and then sold in boxes to Dagashiya. Kids could purchase packs of these cards for a few yen. This set was quite popular as menko are difficult to find in unused condition. This ranks of each of the rikishi don't all match up to any one banzuke, but rather span three different banzuke suggesting a long print run or the manufacturer tried to guess future ranks at print time. This set came in four different colors of ink on the back: green, orange, blue and brown. Green and orange backs are the most difficult to find among these four.
