Description:  Cards were bundled together and then sold in boxes to toy shops.  Kids could purchase packs of these cards for a few yen.  Most cards on the market are in very good condition with nice, sharp corners and straight edges.  These cards have good coloring and are on nice, heavy paper stock.  This is one of the smallest menko sets known.  A typical set of the mid 1950s with the 4 Yokozuna and other popular Rikishi of the time.  This set features future Yokozuna great, Wakanohana I's, first ever Ozeki menko!
