R571

1957 Kagome Rikishi 10-11 Set

R571-1, Type 1: Gloss front

R571-2, Type 2: Unglossed front

Description:  This is one of Kagome's famous "human" sets.  It features the rikishi in their Kesho-Mawashi with a photograph of their head superimposed on a drawing of their body.  The cards are on nice, thick paper stock and either came with a gloss finish on the front or none at all.  Production quality is rough on this set and, consequently, many of the menko are off-centered as the die and card stock didn't match up during cutting.  This is one of the smaller "human" sets.
