Description: This seems to be a typical set from early 1957. Printing quality is low on this set, but it does offer nice close up shots of some of the rikishi. The shikona on the front can be quite hard to read on some of the menko.

Front Design: The majority of the menko show a close up portrait photo of the rikishi. The other menko show interesting scenes such as the rikishi drinking chikaramizu or eating chankonabe. The shikona is printed in either black or white depending on the background. The background colors are solid and one color either blue, yellow, red or purple.

Back Design: The back has the rikishi's statistics in the middle of the menko. A war word is at the very top and there is a 6 digit Fighting Number along the bottom. There is a Gu-Choki-Pa mark to the left of the Fighting Number. A simple design overall.
