   Front Design:  Menko show a photograph of a rikishi standing in their kesho-mawashi or mawashi.  Background colors are red, green or blue and are very vivid.  Rikishi's shikona appears vertically on the front of the menko in a yellow ink.

   Back Design:  The back of the menko is divided into three columns.  The rikishi's shikona appears in the middle column.  Height and weight are in the left and right columns and a Gu-Choki-Pa mark is on the upper right part of the menko back.  A crescent shaped moon appears in the upper left part of the menko.  A 10 digit Fighting Number is along the bottom.  Menko backs are printed in purple ink.
