1958 Doyusha Kiku Bromide 7 Set

Description:  This was a very popular set from 1958.  Menko from this set came in sheets that had to be cut by the children when they bought them and it's difficult to find cards in good condition as they were heavily used and handcut.  There are three variants of this set: a purple back, brown back and blue back.  All sets were made in the same year and the blue and brown sets use the same photos on the front, but there are some minor fighting number variations on the back of the menko.  The purple set is a bromide set.  This was the first year Wakanohana was Yokozuna and the last year Chiyonoyama was Yokozuna before he retired.
