M583

1958 Mitsuwa Trump 20 Set

M583-1, Type 1: Brown Ink on Back

M583-2, Type 2: Blue Ink on Back

Description:  Not much is known about this set, but it looks to be a typical set from late 1958/early 1959.  Menko that survive from this set are in pretty rough shape since they had to be cut out individually from sheets and the paper stock is fairly thick.  I always laugh at the 20 digit Fighting Number at the bottom.  It would have been a big pain in the butt to play with or against these menko with the Fighting Number rules.
