1959 Comic 9-11 Set

    Description:  Not much is known about this set.  No rank or shikona information is available on the menko.  Set is from late 1950's or early 1960's.  The printing quality is quite low in this set.

  Winner Stamp Description:  Unknown

   Front Design:  Menko show the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi or in various stages of pre-bout warmup.  No shikona information is available on the front so you have to guess which rikishi is depicted on the menko.

   Back Design:  All the backs show what seems to be a comic book hero in the middle of the menko.  In the upper left corner are military themed words.  A 1/3 of the way up the menko on the right is a Gu-Choki-Pa mark with a 9 or 11 digit Fighting Number along the bottom.  Menko backs are printed in a blue-green ink.
