    Description:  This set has nice vivid coloring and is a good representation of a late 1950's set.  Yokozuna Tochinishiki was ending his career at the time this set was printed and also features one of the first menko printed of Maegashira Fusanishiki.  Menko backs were printed in a dark brown or black with variations between menko of the same rikishi.

   Front Design:  Most of the rikishi are standing in their kesho-mawashi with a solid color background in either blue of red.  There is also a smaller picture with either another rikishi or a kimarite (winning technique)

   Back Design:  The back of the card features a gunbai in the upper right corner and all have a war theme to them.  The menko are printed in either light brown or light blue.  The Gu-Choki-Pa is on the bottom right with a six or seven digit fighting number at the bottom.  Menko backs are printed in dark brown or black with variations in the fighting number.
