1959 Maruta Gunbai 7 Set

    Description:  Not much is known about this set, but it appears to be from 1959.  The printing quality is good, but the images they used are poor quality resulting in an overall poor design for a menko.  These menko are hard to find and only contain basic height and weight information about the rikishi.

   Front Design:  Shows two rikishi during a bout.  Colors are vivid and red is used heavily.  Shikona appears on the front as well in either yellow or blue.

   Back Design:  Backs have rikishi's shikona vertically inside a gunbai outline.  Basic height and weight information is inside this gunbai on the right and left.  Above the shikona is a Gu-Choki-Pa mark and at the very bottom left is the Maruta mark with a 7 digit fighting number next to that.  Printed in blue-green ink.
