1959 Trophy 6 Set

    Description:  This is a fun set as it depicts the special awards given out at each hon-basho as well as the yusho trophy.  This is the only known set that has this design.  Not much is known about this set otherwise.

   Winner Stamp Description:  Unknown

   Front Design:  The Yusho trophy is shown on the front either in black or white against a solid color background.  Some leaf designs surround the edges and there is a monochrome image of two unknown rikishi engaged in a bout. 

   Back Design:  The back lists the last 8 winners of the special prizes in the middle.  At the upper left is the prize spelled out in kanji inside a green box and both sides have the tassels from a gunbai hanging down.  At the bottom is a 6 digit Fighting Number and the backs are printed in a green ink.
