Description: This is a really interesting set in that it features only Kashiwado and Taiho. It looks as if it was printed right before Taiho and Kashiwado became Yokozuna as neither are wearing tsuna with their kesho-mawashi. It looks as these were issued in the typical taba fashion as there are uncut sheets on the market in the 8 and 16 menko per sheet. I imagine there would be a 2 or 4 menko per sheet option as well for the lowest winning level, but I haven't seen any yet.

# of Cards: 10+ Packaging: Taba and Sheets

Front Design: Fronts show various pictures of Taiho and Kashiwado. Shikona is vertically and printed in black.
Back Design: A playing card-like design is on the back. In the upper left are letters of the English alphabet with some Japanese next to that. Under that is a circle with a cartoon character. I'm not sure what cartoon it is. Under the picture is a 4 digit Fighting Number. On the right side of the menko is a playing card pip with a heart, diamond, spade or club and corresponding number inside. There are no Jacks, Queens or Kings...only 10,11 and 12 to represent them. Backs are printed in a pinkish reddish ink.
