1962 Maruya Pocket Bromide

    Description:  This is a very unusual set as it was issued inside a little booklet and labeled "Pocket Bromide."  This is the first set that I have come across that was issued like this.  There are 10 cards and all rikishi were ranked in the sanyaku and was issued right at the end of 1962 when Yokozuna Taiho and Kashiwado were dominating the sport.  This set was issued by Maruya gangu company and is one of the few known produced by them.  Cards are attached to one another and would require cutting or tearing to separate them.
